Interested in representing your District Area in the 2026 Election for the Board of Director's?
Vacancies to be filled by election of the freeholders of the Cordry- Sweetwater Conservancy District in 2026 are Area 2 and Area 5. In order to represent an area you must own land within the area and must be qualified by knowledge and experience in matters pertaining to the development of the District.
Below is the Declaration & Petition of Candidacy. This form must be signed by you in front of a Notary Public. The Petition must be signed by five (5) freeholders in the District for which you are running. The completed Declaration of Candidacy & Petition of Candidacy must be submitted to the Cordry-Sweetwater Conservancy District office no later than 4:00 P.M., or postmarked no later than 4:00 P.M., on November 30,2025.

Reminder that all barges, boats, dredges and trailers required to obtain a barge permit and ALL communal trailers that move boats to and from multiple bodies of water, and any other equipment which could potentially introduce zebra mussels into Cordry or Sweetwater Lake, must be decontaminated or quarantined prior to launch or use on Cordry or Sweetwater Lake. Decontamination or quarantine shall occur every time the barge, boat, dredge, trailer or other equipment leaves the boundaries of the Cordry-Sweetwater Conservancy District, and prior to launch or re-launch upon Cordry or Sweetwater Lake.
